  1. #3 - Pretty lighting & subject. I like her pose and the setting a lot.
#7- Very comical pose and creative. It would be interesting to see her in maybe different clothing like pajamas or something.

  2. I really like 2, 4, and the last one. I love the texture of 2. The composition of 4 is really nice. Out of the ones with the girl sitting in front of the window I like the last one the best because it has the best exposure for the window and the best focus on the girl.

  3. no. 2 is definitely my favorite. fun idea.

  4. The blanket for a textured backdrop is successful, although I get confused when I look at her face because of the hair and flower combination.

The depth of the film still is nice in the zoomed-out version.

  5. I really like #3 and #4, with the umbrella. It looks like something from a fashion magazine! I like #1 and #5, but I'd like to see a sharper image.. perhaps increase the clarity and contrast.

  6. I really like the one of the girl under the umbrella, I like how the light hits her face, overall composition, and the perspective.

  7. The two photos i think that are working best for you are the close up with the umbrella and the one with the coffee cup. the one with the umbrella has a very interesting composition because of the lines of the umbrella radiating from her head. You might wanna do a re-shoot so lighting would complement the underside of the umbrella better and i think it would also exaggerate the shape. I really like the shot with the coffee cup. I think it would be more interesting if you photoshopped the eyes out so it was just a mouth on the cup. Other than that good shot with a very interesting background.

  8. I love the third image (girl with umbrella). The contrast of her shirt against everything else is good. I don't know her, but it feels like it's a fairly natural pose for her. It's optimistic even though she's wearing her rain gear.

  9. my favorites are the first, second, fourth, and seventh. the lighting and composition and scene in the first all work well. i wish there was a bit more sharpness on her upper body, so if you did a reshoot, try for that. the face on a face is good. you could try this one against other backgrounds as well. keep the flower head one and boost the contrast a bit. this one is odd and playful and interesting. the lighting and expression and sharpness and detail of the fourth image make it stand out. this is a keeper too.

  10. -The white background is a great contrast, and the fact that everyone's moving make for a really great effect.
-The zoomed out film still is also really nice because the windows are blown out. It looks as if she looking to the light or some place happier that she could be.
-The one with the girl in the rain is very well shot. Its very sharp and the balance of the background makes a beautiful picture.

  11. favorites: #4,7

#4 could use more contrast, and levels might make the umbrella have a really interesting smooth gradient. otherwise LOVE it

#7 bump the contrast up as well. the mug being brighter would be an interesting effect

  12. The smiley mug image is clever. I think for that one though, the cropping could be done so that more of her body is cut out so that there is more emphasis on her face and the mug.

I also like the flower one. It's interesting because you cannot tell exactly what is going on and that adds a lot of tension to the image. However the background is kind of distracting, and while it adds something interesting to the mug image, it takes away from this image.

  13. My favorites are 2,3,4 and 7. Photo #2 is interesting but I don't think the background sheet you used is effective for this photo. It adds too much chaos. I enjoy #3 because it looks like a magazine clip out or an advertisement of some sort.

  14. My favorites are also #2 and 4, interesting compositions

  15. I love the close up with the umbrella, it is a strong composition. I also love the one of the girl with the smiley cup. It is unique and conveys personality well. The two film still photos feel over-exposed, but good shots the window exposure takes too much away from her face though.

  16. #3, 4 and 10 are great. I love the shots with the umbrella- they have great composition and expression. #10 is a nice crop and has really pretty tones. I think the placement of the figure in the other images with the model in the window is sort of awkward, and 10 has the best crop.
